University of Basra Organizes Field Practice Activity at the Veterinary Hospital

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a field practice activity at the veterinary hospital in Basrah governorate, with the participation of students and faculty members.

The purpose of the field practice activity was to familiarize students with the services provided by the veterinary hospital to animal breeders, as well as the methods used for examining, diagnosing cases, and administering appropriate treatments.

The activity included introducing students to the hospital’s units, such as the laboratory, which contains the bacterial culture room, the PCR room, and the ELISA room, as well as the ultrasound unit, artificial insemination unit, poultry unit, and the outpatient clinic.
