Dr. Walid Majeed Sakr, a faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basra, has been appointed as a reviewer for Veterinary Medicine International, a scientific journal with a Scopus CiteScore of 3.5.

According to Dr. Sakr, the journal—published by John Wiley & Sons in the UK—focuses on research in veterinary medicine, microbiology, genetic engineering, as well as disease diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
