University of Basrah Holds Workshop on Genetics and Nutrition in Heat Stress Resistance
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a specialized workshop entitled “Genetics and Nutrition in Heat Stress Resistance.”
The workshop aimed to identify the scientific genetic and nutritional methods used to enhance resistance to heat stress in ruminant animals and poultry.
The workshop included a lecture presented to the participants, summarizing the latest research in this field, allowing them to benefit from these studies in improving the success of their experiments, especially in our southern region, which is in great need of such research due to the high temperatures and the scarcity of usable water.
