University of Basrah Welcomes Applicants for the Competitive Examination for Postgraduate Veterinary Studies
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah conducted the competitive examination for applicants seeking admission to postgraduate programs for the academic year (2026–2027), amid intensive logistical and academic preparations to ensure the examination process proceeded in the best possible manner.
The examination halls at the college welcomed more than 50 male and female applicants across various specializations. The college administration and staff worked diligently to provide all requirements for a well-organized examination environment, creating a suitable academic atmosphere that ensured the highest levels of comfort, stability, and readiness for applicants, enabling them to complete their examinations smoothly and efficiently.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yaseen Mustafa, praised the significant role and exceptional efforts made by the examination committee in organizing and preparing the halls and providing an ideal environment for the success of this academic event. He extended his appreciation to all supporting teams and wished the applicants success and achievement in their academic journey, contributing to the advancement of higher education and scientific development in the country.
