University of Basrah Conducts Field Training at Basrah Veterinary Hospital

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah conducted a field training session at the Veterinary Hospital in Basrah Governorate.

The training, attended by faculty members and third-year students, aimed to introduce participants to the hospital’s animal care services, diagnostic procedures, and treatment methods.

Participants were also acquainted with the hospital’s specialized units, including the laboratory unit—which comprises the bacterial culture room, PCR room, and ELISA room—the ultrasound unit, the artificial insemination unit, the poultry unit, and the outpatient clinic.
